L'ÉCRIN, our story

L’ÉCRIN is the meeting of an identity, a passion and an art of living.

When we imagined this space, the aim was not simply to create an elegant wine cellar, but to design a place able to convey an emotion and offer a true experience.

A warm, refined and timeless place, where the architecture is an integral part of L’Écrin’s identity. Materials, colours, light and volumes were all conceived in a single language, to create a coherent, enveloping and singular atmosphere.

Every detail contributes to this experience. Warm tones bring depth and character, the materials heighten the sense of authenticity, while the light accompanies each space and subtly showcases the bottles. The furniture, the lines and the flow of the space complete this staging, naturally guiding the eye and the visitor’s path.

Just as a jewel case — an écrin — reveals and showcases a jewel, this space was imagined to enhance every bottle, every tasting and every moment of sharing. The architecture becomes a setting in the service of wine, but also of encounter and conviviality.

We wanted to create an atmosphere that is both exceptional and welcoming, elegant without being ostentatious, where you immediately feel at ease, whether you are a connoisseur, an enthusiast or simply curious.

L’Écrin is therefore far more than a wine cellar: it is a place where architecture, wine and the art of hospitality come together to create a unique experience.
